- Darcy
- I am a stay at home wife and mom to my husband of twenty eight years, and our two daughters, Rachel and Hannah. I initially started blogging when Rachel was born with a cleft lip and palate and needed a place to journal and keep family and friends up to date with her progress and surgeries. Having enjoyed keeping a blog for Rachel, I went on to start a blog for Hannah, and then one for myself. But I've neglected those blogs for reasons unbeknownst to me, despite my love for writing and sharing our adventures, milestones, and my thoughts.

She is beautiful, Darcy! I saw a little girl this week at the grocery store w/ a lip repair scar & I thought of you guys. What an awesome job God has done with your little sweetie!

Hi Darcy, I've been following this journey from the very beginning after hitting the "next blog" button one day. I remember all the pictures and I'm so thankful to see what God has done for you and Rachel. Sometimes it's good to go back and see (and show others) how far He has brought you. I came across your beautiful pictures of Rachel in researching for clefts. Your daughter is beautiful and brought back many memories of going through it with my daughter, Julianne. She's now 18 and you would not believe how she looks after 3 surgeries and orthodontic care. Hi, I'm Ella from Indonesia. I just gave birth to Joel 2 months ago, he would have his lip surgery on Dec 16th.Can u share ur experience on comforting the babay after surgery? He must drink from spoon, coz he may not suck for a week after. I'm so worried, he used to drink from my breast or bottle.Please pray for us, I'm so scared as the day closer. I'm still weeping to God, and feel so far away from His miracle.God bless you all
