It's that time of year again, the time of year where we enjoy going to the pumpkin patch to look at the pumpkins, take part in the petting zoo, and take pictures with the pumpkins as my backdrop! This last weekend, we went to a different Pumpkin Patch than we've gone to in years past. This one was about an hours drive, but was well worth it! We loaded up a van of Mommies and daughters and we were off to Bates Nut Farm.
We had a great time exploring, looking at all the pumpkins that were in all shapes, sizes, and colors. The sun peeked through for a while when we were exploring the patch of pumpkins, which helped for some pretty pictures. The girls took a tractor pulled hay ride and had fun exploring the straw maze, which kept them busy for about an hour! They also came home with a nice sized pumpkin! One of things I liked about this particular place was that it offered a 'pumpkin package' that included all three of those things for a pretty good price. It was a great day! And we had fun with our friends and enjoyed exploring some place new!
