Rachel loves to hold the door open for people. Whether it be at Miguel's when we're exiting, or even yesterday afternoon, after our dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. I stood and watched as Rachel held the door open for handfuls and handfuls of people.
Only a couple people said 'thank you', much less even realized the door was being held open by a four year old!!! Most people, like the one in this picture, just walked right in. Only a couple of people even acknowledged the door was even being held open for them.
It just amazes me how rude we have a society have become.

How precious!! and sad at the same time that we live in a society of ungrateful people. It is very rare when people say thank you these days. Hope she was rewarded with a yummy dessert from the cheesecake factory. :) I would hold doors for that.
Love to see Rachel being so sweet..and yes, you are right. It is amazing to me how inconsiderate people are as well. I just pray with much teaching and reinforcing of our own kids....that they will be the exception to the rule and amaze others with their manners. In my book...this is #1. And...I have to ask....what kind of cheesecake did you have??? : )
