I'm a little melancholy as I write this post this evening, for today, we attended our last preschool Christmas performance. Rachel will be in Kindergarten next year, therefore today was the last of the cute Christmas performances for our family.
Today's performance was the best one of all four that our kids have participated in.
There weren't any preschoolers with that 'deer in the headlight' look while standing in front of hundreds of parents, grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and who ever else came. Everyone sang loudly and and understandably, doing the hand motions, and did a really good job. Rachel included.
Despite being in the first row,
the close up pictures always turn out so dark. Waving to her fans as she exited the stage.Gramma is always a supporter all the parades and performances, but this was the first performance Papa was able to make it, and Rachel was excited he did! Thanks Papa for adjusting your schedule to come!
Great Grandma and Aunt Sandy came to see Rachel and Haylee/Their last preschool Christmas performance.Rachel had fun as well. For the rest of the day, she's been going around saying "I sang good, huh?". She sure did, and it was a great way to end our Christmas performance experience with the preschool.

Sounds like everyone had a great time. I am sure she did a wonderful job. The kids have their church play on Sunday. Andrew has a pretty significant speaking part and a quartet and then Alexis, along with all the other preschoolers are animals in the manger scene - she is a little piggie. :) Should be fun.
Ahhh, she looked so cute - especially love that holly headband! Well, hopefully she'll do some cute Kindergarten performances too!! I make sure my kids at school look cute until 3rd grade!! Then they're too cool. : ) But even my 4th graders looked cute in their musical last year!
That Holly headband, believe it or not, Hannah wore for her 1st Christmas pictures, 8 years ago!!
